Lately I’ve been having a surge of ideas which have gotten me excited about magic again. Enough so that I went out and bought a larger moleskin journal than the ones I’ve kept in the past. It wasn’t until recently that I was able to articulate why the smaller sized moleskins never really felt right for me. Simply put, they made me feel cramped. Being constrained to such a small area made me feel like I wasn’t giving myself the opportunity to express my ideas to their fullest potential. Psychologically, it made sense. Why wouldn’t I give myself a bigger playground for my ideas? There's no real excuse. I figure that each and every idea should be expressed at full scale with room for additions, corrections, etc. Work with all the space available to you and if you feel like you don't have enough space then go out and make some.
