A Quick Note

​The idea of advanced card magic is enough to make most people run for the hills. It immediately conjures up images of false deals, shuffles, cuts and palms. I'll be honest; I've spent the better part of my youth working on such things. In fact, I still work on such things. Simply because I LOVE such things. However, these such things are NOT what this workshop is about. The Mumblin's Workshop is about taking a closer look at what I feel makes for powerfully well-constructed card magic that isn't based exclusively on sleight of hand. In sharing three unpublished pieces from my working notebooks, free of any technically demanding sleight of hand, it's my hope to re-define YOUR idea of what advanced card magic consists of and more importantly, what it's capable of.

Along with the three aforementioned ​pieces, we'll also go over some of my favorite techniques for lovers of advanced sleight of hand card magic and how they can be applied. This is in efforts to somehow justify having spent so many hours learning and practicing these techniques as a teenager.
