For the first time, magician and mentalist Fabian brings his particular brand of magic and storytelling to the heart of San Antonio with an intimate evening of sleight of hand, psychological illusion, and tall tales.

​Equal parts Southern revival and last-call confessional, An Evening of Tall Tales is a magic show that wanders through the strange intersection of magic, folklore, and storytelling—exploring the impossible feats of magicians, mindreaders, and gamblers. Over the course of 70 minutes, cards are dealt, thoughts are stolen, and stories are stretched until the truth becomes nothing more than a five-letter word.

​Extremely limited in seating, every ticket grants you an unobstructed view, placing you at arms length and at the very heart of the swindle. For the more curious, a select few may choose to get even closer with our Premium and Premium Deluxe options.

Tucked beneath the historic Burns Building in the heart of downtown San Antonio, the Speakeasy at Devils River Distillery is an intimate underground hideaway built for whiskey, conversation, and a little bit of  trouble after dark.

Is there a dress code? 
  • Chic cocktail attire dress code. Dress to impress. 
Is there an age requirement?
  • An Evening of Tall Tales adheres to a strict 21+ age requirement. No exceptions. 
How long is the performance?
  • Each performance of An Evening of Tall Tales has an approximate run time of 75 minutes.​
How is the parking situation? 
  • We recommend parking at the Travis Park Plaza Garage located at 207 E Travis St., an easy walk to and from the venue. 
Do you offer military or educator discounts?
  • Discounted admission is available to veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and educators. Proper identification/credentials to be requested at the door. ​
We're planning our evening around the show. What do you recommend?
  • Devils River Whiskey Distillery puts you within easy reach of some of the city’s best places to eat, drink, and explore. Enjoy a steak at The Palm, a cocktail at The Esquire Tavern or a sweet treat from Voodoo Doughnuts.
